Yes, TOMM® is government-accredited and highly secure. Our accreditations have been completed across ministries
including Oranga Tamariki and Te Whatu Ora. As a cloud-based system, it’s accessible anywhere with an internet
connection. However, your data never leaves New Zealand’s shores, ensuring it is always protected by New Zealand law.
TOMM® also upholds Māori data sovereignty principles, making it especially relevant in an Aotearoa setting.

Can we transfer our data from CounselPro to TOMM®?
Yes, our goal is to ensure seamless data continuity for all new clients. The transfer process is straightforward, and our team
is here to assist you every step of the way. Simply export your data from CounselPro as a CSV le, upload it to the TOMM®
data transfer portal using the secure one-time link that we provide. We’ll handle the rest. Your data will be securely cleaned
and uploaded into your TOMM® account for you to access.
Why is pricing not based on logins?
TOMM® prioritises the privacy of all students information which is why we don’t allow login sharing among users.
Each user has a unique login, and their activity within TOMM® is audit-logged for transparency. In key areas of the
platform, audit logs are visible, ensuring accountability.
How does TOMM® protect student privacy with individual logins?
Unique logins ensure that each student’s privacy is safeguarded. Students have the right to control who can view
their information. In certain cases, such as when a sta member has a personal connection to a student (e.g.,
relative, neighbour), we can protect the students privacy by blocking access to their records for specic users.
Shared logins compromise this level of control, putting student privacy at risk.

What is the cost of TOMM®?
Pricing is based on the number of tools you subscribe to and the size of your school population.

• General Notes and Restricted Notes
TOMM® facilitates collaboration across interdisciplinary teams by allowing notes to be shared appropriately or
restricted from view when necessary. While sharing information helps teams achieve the best outcomes for young
people, there are situations where sensitive information should remain condential. As the professional, you have
complete control to lock down a note when needed, ensuring the right balance between transparency and privacy.
• Notes for Group Sessions
When you conduct group sessions and need to record a general note, TOMM® enables you to attach one note
to multiple individuals. This functionality saves time by linking relevant information to each person involved,
streamlining your documentation process.
• Presenting Factors
Easily document what a student is presenting with using a simple dropdown menu. This data automatically ows into

Holistic Wellbeing Assessments
The TOMM® framework provides a consistent, reliable method for assessing the wellbeing of each student
accessing your services, making it possible to create benchmarks and measure progress over time including
from term to term and year to year.
• Framework of measurements
At the heart of TOMM® is a robust framework of measurements, structured around 8 domains and 18 subdomains.
These domains serve as the pillars that support a comprehensive view of holistic wellbeing.
Each subdomain is rated on a ve-point scale, ranging from Seriously at Risk to Thriving. Each point on this scale is
precisely dened, allowing you to condently assess where your young person stands in terms of wellbeing.
By conducting these assessments over time, TOMM® provides valuable visibility into both the strengths and challenges
facing your school’s student population. The system’s sophisticated analysis tracks changes in wellbeing, identifying
improvements and declines. With the use of colours and symbols, TOMM® allows for quick recognition of key areas
where students may need support or where they are excelling.
• Te Whare Tapa Whā
TOMM®’s subdomains and domains are aligned with the pillars of Te Whare Tapa Whā, making the framework highly
relevant in an Aotearoa context. For those who work within this framework, TOMM® oers reports that analyse the
wellbeing of students through the lens of Te Whare Tapa Whā. Additionally, the system includes a note template
where ratings for each pou are grouped, with space for narrative commentary.
